We believe that God has instructed us to gather regularly as believers to worship Him and also to encourage one another to live as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ (Heb 10:24-25).
On Sunday mornings, our church family gathers to worship God by singing God’s Word, praying the Word, and sitting under the preaching of the Word (Col 3:16, 2 Tim 4:2).
Everyone is invited to participate in our services. Mothers with nursing infants and preschoolers are welcome to use our nursery facility and to participate in our Bible Buddies program during the service. Children from kindergarten up to grade 5 are also welcome to attend our TeamKids Sunday School program if they would prefer. The TeamKids program runs from September to June every Sunday except for the first Sunday of the month in which we participate in the Lord’s Supper together. During these in-service Sundays, we encourage parents, as the primary disciplers of their children, to help their children understand and participate in the corporate gathering of God’s people.
Our service is conducted in English, however, for those who prefer to participate in the Russian language, we offer live translation of the entire service via headsets that are distributed to those who require them. Headsets can be borrowed from our our translation team volunteers in the foyer prior to the start of the service and then returned after the service has concluded. We believe that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is for people from every tribe, language, and nation (Rev 13:7), therefore, it is our goal to serve all peoples with the message of God’s grace that comes through Jesus alone.
Following our service, we spend time over coffee and refreshments in the fellowship hall. On the 2nd Sunday of every month, we welcome all regular church attendees to participate in our church potluck by bringing a dish to share.
For Russian language speakers, we host a regular worship gathering in the Russian language every Sunday (except for potluck Sunday) from noon to 1:30pm.
There’s is limited free parking in the church lot. Street parking in the neighborhood is also available, however, please take care not to block any of our neighbours’ driveways.
